Gen. (Rtd) James Kabarebe, State Minister in charge of Regional Cooperation, has praised the core values that led to the victory of the Rwandan Patriotic Army (RPA), emphasizing patriotism, discipline, and commitment to clear goals.
Kabarebe made the remarks while speaking to youth attending the 15th Indangamirwa leadership program at Nkumba Leadership Centre in Burera District. The program, running from July 1 to August 14, 2025, gathers young Rwandans living abroad, international school students, graduates of the Inkomezabigwi leadership academy, and youth leaders.
During the event, Kabarebe highlighted the importance of upholding the values that guided the RPA in its liberation struggle. He encouraged the youth to build on this legacy and continue contributing to Rwanda’s development.
“The victory of our forces was rooted in love for the country, discipline, and perseverance toward clear, visionary goals,” Kabarebe said. “These values remain essential for the new generation as they uphold the social contract and work toward a prosperous future.”
The Indangamirwa program aims to inspire patriotism and leadership among Rwanda’s youth, reinforcing their role in preserving the nation’s achievements and shaping its future.
