The Embassy of Rwanda in the United Arab Emirates said it is coordinating with RwandAir to assist Rwandan citizens in the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain who wish to return home because of rising tensions in the Middle East.

In a statement, the embassy urged Rwandans living in the two countries to follow safety guidelines issued by local authorities and to stay informed through official communication channels.

The embassy said that so far no Rwandan citizen has been reported harmed in the ongoing conflict involving the United States and Israel in Iran.

Officials said the embassy is working with RwandAir and other relevant institutions to arrange flights for citizens who wish to return to Rwanda. Rwandans interested in traveling back home were asked to register with the embassy as soon as possible so that travel arrangements can be coordinated.

The embassy also said its staff remain available to provide assistance to Rwandan nationals in both countries as the situation evolves.

Contact phone numbers and an email address have been shared with the community to help citizens request support or obtain more information. Officials encouraged Rwandans in the region to remain calm, stay alert and maintain communication with the embassy.

Authorities said the coordination aims to ensure that Rwandan citizens who wish to return home can do so safely if the security situation in the region worsens.
